FR - "Marthe est un illustrateur, graffeur et tatoueur freelance, qui vit et travaille à Paris.
Artiste autodidacte protéiforme, ses domaines de prédilection sont l'illustration en noir et blanc pointilliste, les fresques murales graffiti et la musique.
Il a grandi dans la quiétude Auvergnate à proximité de la ville de Clermont-Ferrand et de sa région volcanique unique en Europe.
Il est aussi musicien depuis presque 20 ans notamment au sein de quelques groupes aux influences post rock, math rock, hardcore.
Il puise aussi bien son inspiration dans la volcanologie, la bande dessinée, les gravures de Dürher et Piranèse, la culture skateboard, ses amis, l'architecture, les vieilles affiches publicitaires, son gros chat, la cuisine, le championnat NBA, la Corse, sa batterie et ses cymbales, le hip-hop, le rock'n'roll, et c'est avant-tout par peur constante de la monotonie qu'il diversifie sa pratique afin d'enrichir en permanence son univers graphique."

EN - "Marthe is a french freelance illustrator, graffiti and tattoo artist living and working in Paris.
He is a self-taught artist and his chosen fields are black & white illustrations with stippling technic (dotwork), typography, graffiti murals & drumming.
He grew up in Auvergne, in a unique, beautiful and peaceful volcanic area nearby Clermont-Ferrand, France and he's also a musician for twenty years. He plays drums in some post rock, math rock, hardcore bands.
Marthe finds inspiration in comic books, skate culture, his friends, gentiane liquor, architecture, Dürher & Piranesi engravings, volcanology, old advertising posters, the NBA championship, spray paint, Corsica, his fat cat, cooking dishes, his drumkit, hiphop, rock'n'roll, and it is above all by constant fear of monotony that he diversifies his practice in order to continuously enrich his graphic universe."
